Cooked ingredient company TMI Foods has announced two new appointments to its main board.
The Northampton-based company, a leading UK supplier of cooked bacon products to the major multiples and foodservice industry, has appointed Alan Peterson as Production Director and Nigel Richmond as Sales Director.
Alan (seated second from the right), aged 51, has worked in the bacon and pork industry for 25 years and joins the company from Roach Foods where he was general manager of the Bodmin factory.
He has also worked in senior production capacities for Kerry Foods in Manchester and Stocks Lovell in Evesham, and was with TMI Foods in the mid-1980's when it was part of Booker Foods.
Nigel (seated on the left), aged 56, joins TMI Foods from Hazlewood Foods, part of the Greencore Group, where he was business controller for the Hazlewood Pizza division.
A former Sainsbury's graduate trainee, Nigel has worked for many household names in the food industry in commercial roles including McCains, Campbell's Soup, 3663 and St. Ivel.
