TMI
Foods has won a number of major new export orders from European food manufacturers
and foodservice companies.
The
company – one of the
UK
’s leading suppliers of cooked bacon and ingredients - has recently secured new
supply contracts in Europe through its distributors in
France
and
Belgium
.
In
France
, the company has won orders to supply cooked bacon to a leading international hotel
group and leisure services corporation, while in
Belgium
, TMI Foods is fulfilling a contract with a major supermarket group supplying retail
packs of cooked bacon.
It has also secured business in
Denmark
for the first time, providing cooked bacon to a wholesaler supplying Danish food
manufacturers.
In
addition, the company has gained repeat export business in
Spain
through wholesalers in
Barcelona
to supply cooked bacon rollers – Pigs In Blankets – to expat communities living
in the Costas.
And the company is also fulfilling its first order for cooked ingredients to a Greek
sandwich manufacturer which but has started production of UK-style sandwiches for
the local market.
