Streaky Bacon is known and revered for its high fat content, which gives it a rich and savoury flavour. The layers of fat that run through the meat also contribute to its unique texture, making it crispy when cooked. When smoked, streaky bacon takes on a smoky flavour that complements this richness. It can be smoked using different types of wood, such as Beechwood, Applewood or Oak to achieve different levels of smokiness.
